Candida Immune System

Candida Immune System

When the immune system is weak, infections occur.

Candida is a condition that results from having a weak immune system that virtually kills off the “good” bacteria in the body.

It allows the fungi to grow rapidly and most experts agree that a diet deficient in nutrients may be the cause.

For example, high fructose which can be found in most foods and liquids contribute to a weakened immune system. Candida may also be caused by caffeine as it kills off the “good” bacteria in our bodies.

There are more interesting data which illustrates how a weak immune system can affect Candida. Conditions such as arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Addison’s disease are four conditions that have been linked to Candida. What links these conditions is the pattern of symptoms such as: pre-existing illness, fatigue, interrupted sleep patterns, skin conditions infections, and stress.

Antibiotics also suppress the immune system, and studies have concluded there is a link between autoimmune diseases and Candida.

For individuals suffering with Fibromyalgia, studies have shown that there are high amounts of yeast in the urine of these individuals.

In arthritis cases, because it is considered an autoimmune disease, tests have shown that Candida has been present in the body and that the two are directly linked.

A case can also be made with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Candida. While stress is the mitigating factor, diagnosis of this condition mirrors arthritis in many ways, and a Candida infection appears to be the source.

Moreover, it is also suggested that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia are somewhat related. The conclusion is that if one is suffering from fatigue, headaches, sore throat, memory problems, or joint pain; then it follows that evidence of Candida is not far behind.

Children who are diagnosed with Type I Addison’s disease are prone to develop chronic Candida. Addison’s is caused by an autoimmune disorder and this weakened immune system can dramatically cause fungal infections which are Candida related.

A weak candida immune system are directly linked as evidenced by the conditions stated above. Moreover, we know that when we are feeling lethargic and fatigued, show symptoms such as rashes, white patches on the tongue, infection around the nails, unable to eat or swallow, experience burning and itching in the genital area; that something is not quite right.

The immune system is the wall that protects our bodies against disease and infection. Once the wall is compromised, the “good” bacteria are replaced by another type of fungi that wreaks havoc on the body. Understanding the causes of Candida will help to promote good health, good hygiene practices, and a diet and exercise program that can aid in the prevention of autoimmune diseases.
